| NIN/dfa 1979/queens of the stone age concert at MSG last night. one word: AWESOME!   it was my birthday gift to babyy and im happy that he had such a great time.
you know what i thought was funny? the fact that kanye west was playing last night too. two totally different genres of music.  no offense, im a kanye fan too, but i totally think NIN shook the garden last night. i mean the NIN/dfa 1979/qotsa fans had the whole arena while the kanye fans only had the theater. haha. 
soo we were 3 levels up from the floor. i was expecting some of the worst seats ever, but they turned out pretty good cuz we were above and had a nice clear view of the stage. our section turned out to be pretty interesting too, filled with smokers AND weed smokers. hahaha. i swear, every time NIN played a major hit song, you could really smell the weed heavily. s'all goooooood. it was all about great music + having a good time. can't wait til im 21, so i can enjoy awesome music AND drink some beer while im at it. felt kinda left out cuz pretty much everyone had a beer in their hands, but still had a good time. 
the concert just kept on getting better and better as the night progressed. we started off wit death from above 1979. they totally rocked. props to them for only having 2 guys in their group. then queens of the stone age came on. i really was digging their background set-up. its amazing what stage lights can do. music rocked as well. finally, NIN came on and they totally blew me away. had pretty much everyone standing, nodding their heads to the music, singing, dancing. it was GREAT! the energy was soo intense. i loved every minute of it. you could easily tell everyone was having a good time. really awesome way of relieving stress + celebrating the end of midterms.
i definitely need to get myself to more rock shows. next time it'll be the mosh pits. haha.  here's some blurry, shitty-ass pics from my wack digi cam [i need to get a new one!]:

| i'm struggling right now. in pretty much every aspect of my life.
there's this one thing though.
what you don't know won't hurt you. and yet there's bits and pieces im finding out.
it's leading to tears .. to heartache.
maybe im overthinking this. maybe its my insecurities getting the best of me yet again.
but, i have a gut feeling im not wrong bout this one. i never have been wrong bout it.
its always been in the back of my mind from the very start.
i've always ignored it and pushed it aside,
but now its coming back to haunt me.
it's been building up and its slowly exploding now.
im waiting for the world to end.
always optimistic for others, but never for myself. pessimistic is my word.
do you know why?
because if i expect the worst, maybe it won't hurt as much.
that way i'll already have had a heads-up.

| eek .. its SEPTEMBER!  its officially time to kiss summer '05 good-bye.  hehe. its been fun and my lil picture summary of summer to close it off will be up in a few days. unfortunately its back to school, no longer a freshman and dealing with a semester i CANNOT fcuk up. lots of stress + pressure for this one. yesssssss. 
with it being september, another month has gone by so i can't forget to say ..

i love my crazy "boriqua" hubbyyyy! haha. its not one, but TWO cars now. '85 corolla .. puerto rican style babyyy. hehe. s'all goooood. now he just needs to buy me my own rx-7. this summer's been good to us .. GOOD amount of time together, plenty of events, ton of sleepovers. woww, 4 more months til we hit that 4 year mark. ohh, i can't wait! don't wanna jinx it thou, God forbid. simply put, i just love you, as always.
